This website is actually a message board I have been maintaining for awhile for small friends use but recently I started making threads for what I call
"reality role play"
Ever play an ORG and find it funny that you are playing the game in a way totally different from your representative? Well here's your chance to find out
what happens when you don't.
The idea behind reality roleplay isn't to win, it's to create an interesting and well written storyline in the context of a reality game. Character
interaction is tantamount, and accurate portrayal is necessary. Are you playing a character who would screw their own game? Well then, play him or her that
way, even if it means that you are the first boot. Confessionals and voting will all be done publicly. You aren't trying to play the game, you are trying
to portray a character.
So, I have created a bunch of threads at my message board for this to play out. Please please please, come and sign up. Click on the link bellow this
paragraph. Sign up for an account and then post in this thread saying that you have so I can approve your account. After you do that you will find this threads
for the use of these roleplay games in the category "Role Playing, Games,
and Contests" and then the "Fantasy Games" board (underneath Other Roleplay).
BTW, I know it ain't gonna happen, but I personally feel this deserves like a sticky or a featured thread because it's so awesome!
Also, don't feel restricted to that area if you sign up, the whole board is 100% open for use perusal and posting. It's an all purpose board, though
sparsly used by only a couple of active members (though that's been changing lately).
Yeah, it was for her talk show. I think it was for "Best Informative Talk Show" lol
Also, I agree about Jeff Probst. There is a difference between making observations and asking tough questions and blatantly trying to influence the game, a
difference which Probst doesn't seem to be acknowledging this year.
What was even worse about the whole situation was the way the Jays were encouraging her by also participating in the skit. She can be just as bad on her talk
show (which I regrettably admit I watch semi-regularly). Maybe now that Tyra has won an Emmy, she thinks she can get away with anything. lol
I know! Some of her antics on ANTM are past funny and just downright embarrassing, like her dancing at panel, her dressing up like a fairy godmother, and most
of all her skit with the Jays. Still, for some reason I am drawn to her and find her kind of endearing. Is that bad? What's wrong with me?!
No, I agree she can be endearing. It's just that I'm currently worrying about her mental health. She somewhat frightens me. Especially the snow white
thing
